Jawad Shah’s editing journey began in Pakistan, where he joined the country’s national broadcaster, Pakistan Television (PTV). Over more than a decade at PTV, he edited some of the most acclaimed dramas, telefilms, documentaries, and cultural programs on national television. His creative instincts and technical precision quickly made him a standout in the industry. By 2011, he had won three National Awards for Best Drama Editor, Best Film Editing, and Best Telefilm Editing—solidifying his reputation as one of the top editors in the region.
But Jawad didn’t stop there.
In pursuit of new challenges, he expanded internationally and began working with Canadian TV and Eastlink TV in Halifax. There, he took on diverse formats ranging from community shows and lifestyle segments to talk shows and documentary content. His ability to adapt to new platforms and audience expectations allowed him to make a smooth transition from traditional broadcast editing to digital-first formats.
Today, Jawad leads video editing operations at Deepixel FZ LLC in Dubai, where he brings his extensive experience to commercial projects, brand storytelling, and online video content for a global audience. At Deepixel, he works closely with clients ranging from startups and influencers to large enterprises—helping them transform raw footage into videos that engage, inform, and convert.
